She brought me

into this world

Alone, she

for me, she

Fought

She was proud.

Never ashamed.

Alone,

 but with

Conviction.

Turbulent years

she gave her best.

Defeated at times,

it worked out,

Somehow.

Her wisdom

was shared

as I grew.

She could hear

 my heart,

Always.

Her face now shines,

in my memories,

 of her.

My chest swells,

at my loss,

of her.

Eu te amo, Mãe.

We were one,

in the beginning.

We always,

will be as

One.

It Must Be Cool Up There
