The twilight breaks, the ocean crashes,

salty hair, dry lips,

wetsuit rashes.

Sea life glows underneath the surface,

barnacles, urchins,

all have a purpose.

Unappreciated nature is seen every day,

tides low, swells high,

crash of a wave.

Only few can see this beauty we are given,

Mother Nature

We should be livin’.

The ocean crashes, the twilight breaks,

another day has arrived,

give as much as you take.
